The Colors at Night

One thing I really enjoy about Istanbul is the vivid colors, both man made and natural, visible throughout the city at night. While Seoul was usually awash with neon colors on every street, here in Istanbul the lights vary from harsh neon, to warm and inviting, and back again. Here’s a few of my favorite pictures taken after dark:

I’ll be honest. We have not gotten out and about much. However, where we live is pretty interesting, so I grabbed a couple of quick shots to give you a taste of it all, so to speak.

Our street. Filled with college kids and neon. So much neon.

The local Samsung fried chicken store. The source of a hilarious misunderstanding we’ll share in a moment.

Our rooms. You can talk to anyone in without leaving your room just by raising your voice. This is the only pro related to sound, the rest are cons.
