Factory Party in Saigon

It was a last minute thing, but we are spontaneous girls. We got a message about a factory party happening in District 4, so naturally, we were up for it. Serene and I checked it out and unfortunately, it wasn’t as totally awesome as we imagined it to be. The DJing was a bit weak, the sound system had its problems, the bathrooms were nasty, and the drinks were expensive…but, hell, it’s what you make of it. Serene and I shook our booties, batted our eyelashes at a few boys, and completely blew the budget for the day. Oh, and apparently “factory parties” are held in “garages” here. But now I’m just splitting hairs. All in all, I would consider the evening a success. And it gave Serene and I yet another opportunity to eat street food at 3am. Here’s a peek at what a factory party looks like in Vietnam:

The Seoul World DJ Festival was a lot of fun. Not exactly what we expected, but a lot of fun. We had a pretty outrageous time and made a lot of new friends. Many more pictures as we slowly offload cameras. Media follows.

We hung out on the grass while people showed up to the festival. It was a great day for being outside. As night fell the party got started…

During the day the crowds were not nearly as dense, but they still loved to dance.

The party gets going and we manage to stumble into some lounge area. They were drinking champagne. I say they because we were unable to talk our way into any.

We went to Hongdae, then came back. Then we stumbled around.

We end up in a tent for awhile. Met a bunch of new people and drank some beers. They were overpriced, but not by much.

Finally we went home. And by home I mean Hongdae.
