And a new season begins-
This week we’re releasing our first episode from the Italy season – "New Country, New Friends".
In this episode a brand new Jet Set Zero cast sets out to explore the countryside of Italy one stunning location at a time. Courtney and Lynne are the first to arrive in Bajardo and enjoy the ancient city before meeting up with Sarah and Perrin in San Remo. From there they get their introduction to their new jobs and life in Italy.
As with every episode let us know what you think, what you like, and what you want to see more of (as well as what you don’t like). Drop us an email at web[at]jetsetzero.tv with your thoughts – we read every one!
This week sees the release of another episode from Quito – “Get Out of Town”. In this week’s episode the cast decides it’s time for some change. Freddie and Ryan head out of town and end up meeting a pair of girls to share an adventure with while Jenna and Laurene explore the city with new friend/guest cast member Amy Cao.
Oh, and everyone quits their jobs.
After a brief break from our regular season to bring you a taste of the exciting world of pro gaming. We are back with another full episode from Quito. This week the cast grapples with the next challenge on their list – jobs. Laurene, Freddie and Jenna a quickly find jobs, but keeping them is another matter entirely. Meanwhile Ryan sets out see a different side of Quito, and Jenna deals with the realities of a relationship back at home.
Check out the new episode, and as always let us know what you think.
In honor of the recent release of Starcraft 2 which I may or may not have excitedly preordered months ago, we went into the archives and dug up some long lost (and awesome) footage from our season in Seoul and this interview with the world’s premiere pro-gamer.
In Korea Starcraft is like baseball in America. A huge audience , multiple professional leagues, and most everyone has or does play it. Its just part of the culture. We were lucky enough not only to see a couple professional matches while we were there but to interview the best eSports player of all time – Lim Yo-Hwan aka “SlayerS_`BoxeR`” aka “The Emperor”.
BoxeR as he is more commonly known makes over $300,000 USD a year to play and has endorsements that bring in around an additional $90,000 each year. That’s right. Almost a half million dollars a year to play video games. Oh, he also has a 500,00 person fan club, most of which is female.
In Korea there are actually two e-sports channels and at any time of the day you can flip on the TV and watch televised Starcraft matches complete with three different announcers providing commentary. It’s so popular that lots of bars will turn on all of the TVs to cover the big match of the week. Oh, and it doesn’t stop there.
This week’s release brings us the next chapter in the story of Jet Set Zero: Quito.
After Freddie and Laurene’s adventurous meeting – finding a place to live, and then climbing a mountain – they moved on to a critical next step: meeting the rest of the team. This week’s episode sees the premiere of Quito’s next two characters: Jenna and Ryan.
With the whole team intact they can move on to more challenges: the challenges of jobs and security. Two aspects of life in Quito that may prove to be even more challenging than their previous mountain adventure.
It may seem strange to talk about season 8 while seasons 6 and 7 are still being released, but this the reality of production. The amazing casts that we have had in Quito and Italy are finishing up their adventures, and now we’re working on pulling together another team of travelers for the next big challenge.
We don’t know where it will be, or even who the team is. yet However we do know one thing – it will be awesome.
In just a few minutes you’ll get introduced to the first cast member from Season 8, and next Wednesday we’ll introduce number two. As far as who comes after that… well it could be you.
If being a part of Jet Set Zero sounds like something you want to do then this is one of your rare chances. Apply now and take the leap.

Jet Set Zero proudly presents – Season 7, Italy.
Today Freddie meets some local children working odd jobs in one of Quito’s central squares. He takes them to a fried chicken lunch and hears about their life and it turns out they have a lot more in common with him than first meets the eye.
