On Sunday I stumbled upon this Buddhist temple that’s literally carved into the side of a mountain. There’s a metal stair case that leads up to the entrance now a days, but I’m still trying to figure out how they initially built it there. This is just one of many reasons why I’m going to miss South Korea. Hmmmmmm…….I wonder how much Kimchi they’ll let me check in my luggage?
I’m just going to meditate on this picture for a while, thanks. (At least until I can meditate from an actual temple rather than this office space in Burbank, Ca.
See you soon, dude.
I love Kimchi
which temple was that? Golgulsa near Daegu? Safe travels, homie.
What was even better is that I didn’t even know this temple was there. We rappelled down the side of a mountain, walked up some steps and BOOM! There it was. Nothing could have been more dramatic.
Freddie: I’m having a hard time finding the temple’s name, but it’s in Sokcho inside of Seoraksan.
