Villa La Terrazza's billion dollar view

It’s pretty f***ing cool to have friends of friends who have friends who have villas in the Amalfi Coast.  It’s even cooler when they let you stay there as a “room filler” between their vacation bookings.  Jet Set Zero got the ultimate chance to close out our season doing just this, at the legendary Villa La Terazza in Sorrento.

The villa is an iconic yellow jewel perched on the cliffs of the Sorrentine coastline.  It boasts “billion dollar views” of the Amalfi Coast and a serene escape from the tourist mecca on Sorrento’s main drag.

We must have looked like a bunch of hilbillies upon arrival.  Most of us haven’t done laundry in weeks, our hair has become straw, style has been reduced to red t-shirts and farmers tans.  But it didn’t take us long to embrace the Sorrentine lifestyle and take full advantage of amenities we haven’t seen all summer…air conditioning, private terraces, cushy beds and a sun-soaked pool.
