We’re now in Istanbul, and we’re trying to make this destination work for Season 4. Unfortunately, it means a lot of walking in the meantime– today we explored Sultanahmet up past Taksim Square, looking for housing and ESL schools. Here’s a partially incomplete map of our journey.

You guys are in Istanbul now. I have a good network in Istanbul since I lived there in the past. I lost your email but I can forward you to some contacts that run various schools there.

Best of luck in Istanbul. Get on the Asian side (Bostanci), it is much nicer over there, fresher air.
