Hey Everyone! My name is Jen and I am the newest cast member to join Jet Set Zero.
Two months ago, I was sitting reading the local newspaper, checking out the travel section and dreaming of far off adventures, then I came across an article called “Jet Set Adventures on a Beer Budget.” I immediately checked out the Jet Set Zero website and watched every episode obsessively, in the end, I concluded that I had to be a part of this.
For the last couple of years I’ve been constantly planning my escape and trying to figure out a way in which I could go off and see the world. I just graduated from University and this opportunity to join JS0 couldn’t have come at a better time. I had the greatest job in the world, working in sales and marketing at a ski resort in the Great Canadian Rocky Mountains but I still found myself always wondering what else was out there in this big bad world. I’m not interested in having a mortgage, husband or kids…. well at least not at this point in time. I want to see the whole world, I want to experience all the different things it has to offer and I want to learn. There are so many things in this world I don’t understand and there are so many people that I haven’t met…yet.
When I was finally invited to come out and join the cast there was absolutely no hesitation. I quit my job 3 weeks ago, booked a one way ticket and now I’m here in Istanbul, ready for whatever comes at me next. I am excited to be not only the only female on the cast, but the only Canadian as well. This should make for an interesting season.

Hard Knox… after our convo earlier today on fb chat, i finally got around to watching some episodes. i’m hooked and looking forward to seeing some new episodes. remember… kebab meat on top of fries covered in sweet and hot sauce at 4am is the best meal of the day!
