SLAP A FOREIGNER by Rob on June 12, 2009

Last week, I challenged James– a local DJ with TBS FM Radio– to a simple contest. Go to a crowded Seoul street and stand with a sign that reads “Slap Me”. Whoever accumulates the most slaps wins the challenge. Now, having only a shameful 15 minutes of tape, I had to work fast, accumulating only 23 slaps total. Did James do better? Listen to TBS’ live webcast to find out. Here’s the video, with more footage after the cut.

Rob! Great job!!!! I was listenning the eFM radio and heard the result. Did you like to be slapped weaker or harder? hahaha- You guys do great job! I am sure that people love to watch your show and can`t hardly wait to see the next because I am the one of them, hehe!

BTW I tryed to watch the video you uploaded but I can`t watch somehow. One thing I can think of is that I don`t see the logo [ HD is on] at the forth one on the right side. I can watch any videos if the logo is on the video..

If you know how to resolve the problem, let me know!

Hilarious! I couldn’t help noticing that Rob’s voice gets a distinct hint of gay-guy-in-drag-at-Broadway-afterparty whenever he says the words “slap me” (or maybe the broadway-crazy dad from the High School Musical episode of South Park). That soundbite is just begging to be set to music ;-)
